Rebuild a dated apartment as a modern coastal retreat.

The property was gutted and comprehensively refurbished to create a modern coastal home. The new interior needed to feel lighter, more open and connected to the exceptional Hout Bay setting.

A complete transformation within an existing footprint.

The renovation required every element to be reconsidered within the existing apartment footprint—from spatial flow and building services to the kitchen, bathrooms, flooring, lighting, joinery and final finishes.
